Synopsis

Hopper, Eni, and Josh, the secret coders, have found their mentor, Professor Bea, hiding in an underground complex. While he continues to teach them in secret, they also must attend the classes taught by Dr. One-Zero who is using the students of their school to manufacture his Green Pop which leaves people mindless. So again the coders must save the city, and again it is their coding abilities, along with the amazing Turtle of Light that must win the day.

Why should I read this book?

Okay, I concede the storyline is a little hokey, but this series does an amazing job of weaving together a gripping story and the fundamentals of coding, with challenges for readers to solve. I know of no better book for casting math in general and coding in particular in a favorable light.

Who is this book best for?

My guess is that strong fourth grade readers through middle school who are interested in or open to STEM would bind this book very interesting.
