Synopsis

Sara is home sick and is bored. Her friend Jill is trying to find ways to entertain her and finally hits upon the idea of using her book about the planets to make up a story for Sara in which their pets become the intrepid crew of an exploration spaceship. The ship runs on Sara’s interest level, which is pretty low at first, but as they check out new planets, her interest level rises and so does the ships energy stores. As they explore each planet we find out everything from orbits and gravity to moons and atmosphere composition. It is a nicely put together book.
